LunchTime/School Payment Portal is an online cafeteria management system that allows you to check your child’s cafeteria balance, track what they are eating, restrict the a la carte items they can purchase and set spending limits.
Payments may be made either in the form of a credit card payment or via an ACH/bank draft transaction. ACH Transactions allow you to deposit money using your checking or savings account. Credit Card Transactions allow you to deposit money using a major credit card. The following cards are accepted: VISA, MasterCard, Discover. All fees charged by School Payment Portal are to cover the expenses of processing your transaction. No part of the fee is charged or received by the school.
PARENT access to the LunchTime system is available through our Grade Book Parent Portal. If you do not have a Portal account, please contact the main office of the school your child is in. If your child attends Bedford High School or Bedford Middle School, you may contact Krista Downs. If your child attends Bedord Elementary School, you may contact Sheila Gadley. You can also access your child's account by going into www.schoolpaymentportal.com.
If you already have a Portal Account click here to login to our Portal.
Using School Payment Portal
Once you have logged into your Parent Portal account, click on "School Payment Portal" link. Your child's name and balance information will be listed under the heading "Cafeteria Account". To make a deposit to your child's account, click on the blue "Make Cafeteria Deposit" on the right side of the screen. Follow the directions to set up ACH/Bank Draft Payments or Credit Card Payments.
To configure your notification settings, click on the green "View/Set Reminders" on the left side of the screen. Click the "Modify" link next to your child's name. Follow directions to set up an email reminder once the balance gets low or to automatically replenish the account with a specified amount of money.
On the line where your child's name is, click on transactions. This will show you a detailed summary of what your child has eaten and when deposits were made. Click on restrict items and that will bring up all meals and items that we offer. Click on restrict if you don't want your child to purchase that item and it will go into the restricted list. Click remove to take it back out of the restricted list.
Log out when you are finished. If you have any questions or concerns with LunchTime, please call the Food Service Office at 623-4235 or 623-4236.

All schools have Point of Sale cash registers/computers allowing students to deposit money into their own account for daily food purchases. Every student has his/her own identification number which can be used to access their cafeteria account.
At meal time, the student enters his/her ID# on the key pad to access their account. The cashier will then enter the transaction and the purchase is deducted from the student’s account.
Students can deposit any amount of money by check or cash by giving the deposit to the cashier who will enter the amount in the student’s account. The check can be made out to Bedford Area School District. Please write on the check "lunch money and your child's name".
The cashier will alert students when their accounts are getting low by a verbal notice. We also have a calling system that will call on Sunday afternoon. It will call any student’s home that had a negative account balance. Parents may check their child’s account balance online by using LunchTime. They can also make Credit Card or ACH Deposits by setting up an account with LunchTime. For more information please access the LunchTime Portal.
