The teachers and students of Bedford Middle School are preparing for the PSSA exams. It goes without saying that the results of these exams are very important to the parents, students, and the school. This data gives us valuable insight to the effectiveness of our programs and teaching strategies. It is imperative that students try their best in order to give us a reliable look at their progress from one year to the next. Many of the students will take several exams this year, which can lead to testing fatigue. Parents can help us by reinforcing to their children the importance of good health prior to the exam. Research indicates that students perform better when they get a good night's rest and eat breakfast before the tests. Encourage your child to be sincere and positive about the exams. A healthy body and a positive attitude will help the students do their best! Testing dates are as follows: 6th - 8th grade Reading: April 15th – 17th 6th - 8th grade Math: April 29th – 30th 8th grade Science – May 1st – 3rd
