Student enrollment policy

Enrolling a Student in the Bedford Area School District

It is easy to enroll a student in any of the five schools that are part of the Bedford Area School District.  If you follow the steps below and bring the necessary information, the enrollment process can take place without delay.

  1. Call the building prior to visiting to be sure the guidance counselor is available at our secondary buildings or the secretaries are available at our elementary buildings.
  2. Bring all immunization records for the student(s) to be enrolled.  The school nurse will need to review these records prior to final enrollment.
  3. Bring any other records that the sending/prior school gave to you.
  4. Bring the name, address, telephone number and fax number of the prior/sending school to aid in the transfer of transcript information.
