Bedford High School understands the challenges you and your child face during the transition from high school to life after high school.  The decisions may be intimidating and overwhelming! Also, the potential choices can be very expensive!  The School Counselors would like to partner with you during this transition.

School Counselors experience thousands of these transitions and possess specialized knowledge helpful to saving money and making good choices.  They have information regarding:

  • College/Technical School Selection and Choosing a Major
  • College/Technical School Application Process
  • SAT and ACT Testing
  • College/Technical School Expenses
  • Financial Aid for College/Technical Schools (Loans and Grants)
  • College/Technical School Scholarships
  • College Athletics

In an effort to partner with you, the School Counselors scheduled an individual meeting with you and your child.  You will receive a letter the week of October 7, 2019 with the date and time of your appointment.  If you have any additional questions or need to change the date or time of the appointment, please contact the counseling office at (814) 285-3061.

Additionally, School Counselors will schedule meetings with students who plan to go to work or the military and their parents during the month of December.
