Bedford Elementary School

For the month of October, BEST in Action sold 1,000 pink flags! Members participated in the Pink Ribbon Walk to raise money for the Bedford County Pink Ribbon Fund. The Bedford Elementary BEST in Action group donated $1500 to the fund to help people fighting cancer in Bedford County. BEST in Action is a service club for students in 2nd through 5th grade. The advisors are Ms. Eberhart and Mrs. Fox. There are 160 students in the club. Pictured are Mrs. Brandi Hershey and Sydney Swope. Every morning, for the month of October, Sydney volunteered to sell pink flags at BE. Sydney also sold pink flags at the "pink out" football game, and she participated in the Pink Walk.
