After School Evening Activity Transportation
*During the summer two week Sports and Band camps prior to the start of school year, Transportation will pick up, from prearranged community bus stops, to have students at Bedford High School by 7:00 AM. The bus will depart Bedford High School at 4:00 PM to take students back to their community home bus stops. If a student plans to ride the Activity bus, their parent or guardian is asked to contact the Bedford Area School District Transportation Department, at 814-623-4223 to reserve a ride.
*During the regular school year, and normal operating conditions, the Activity bus will run daily for after school activities. The bus will depart at Bedford High School at 6:00 in the evening. High School Students need to reserve their seat in the transportation office every day they plan to ride the after school/activity bus. Middle and Elementary students are required to sign up daily on their after school program’s signup sheet. If you have any questions, parents can contact the District Transportation office at the number listed above.
Activity buses will follow the same protocol as other transportation:
*We will not run activity buses on holidays or any days we do not have school.
*Early dismissal days will automatically cancel activity buses
* If nobody signs up for the activity bus on any given day, the Activity bus will be canceled for that day.
