The Bedford Area School District requires all District employees, coaches, and volunteers to obtain and maintain proper clearances in accordance with Act 153.

FBI Criminal Background Check (Service Code: Employees - 1KG6XN; Volunteers - 1KG6ZJ)

For Volunteers Only: If you have lived continuously in the state of Pennsylvania for ten (10) years, you may sign a Residency Disclosure Statement that waives your requirement to obtain Act 114 FBI Clearance. Click Here.

Act 168 - Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release (not required for chaperones or PTO volunteers)

Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training (not required for chaperones or PTO volunteers)

Under Option 1, select "available sessions" under the Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse heading. Select a time that best suites your schedule and be sure to allow enough time to complete the training (~3hrs).
