BMS Envirothon

On Friday, October 28th, the Bedford Middle School Envirothon students
traveled to Raystown Lake to further their ecological studies. While
they were there, students learned about reptiles and amphibians found in
the local ecosystem, as well as fish and tree identification from the
park rangers. A highlight of the trip for the students was being able to
observe some of the animals up close and personal, as they able to
handle several turtles, an American toad, and an Eastern Ratsnake.
