The Bedford Area School District once again welcomed back the Bedford High School’s Technology Student Association (TSA) team as national champions!

Their road to nationals began at the state conference from April 10-13, 2019, at Seven Springs Resort. A total of 23 students competed in multiple events, with eighteen placing in the top ten, including three first place finishes, and 10 students qualifying for the national conference.

This year’s national conference was held from June 28 through July 2, 2019, at the Gaylord Resort in National Harbor, MD. BHS students captured a 1st place finish in Architecture Design, competing against 65 other teams and scoring 206 out of a possible 210 points. They also captured a 2nd place finish in Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) and a 3rd place finish in 3D Animation.


The teams consisted of the following students:

1st Place in Architectural Design-

Nathaniel Semanek, Luke Dague, Nicholas Regos, Brandon Fischer, Morgan White

2nd Place in Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM)-

Nathaniel Semanek, Luke Dague, Brandon Fischer, Andrew Foor

3rd Place in 3D Animation-

Luke Dague, Nathaniel Semanek, Nicholas Regos, Seth Montgomery

7th Place in Transportation Modeling-

Gannon Ziviello


The TSA team at BHS is led by teachers Doug Pauley and Doug Alexander, who thank everyone for all their support and help throughout the school year.

This is the fifth year the TSA team has captured a 1st place finish at the national competition. The Bedford Area School District is immensely proud of these students and their advisors for all the hard work and dedication they put into these competitions!
