Dear Bison Community,
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Mr. Scott Bacon, an employee in our District’s maintenance department. Scott was a valued member of our school community and impacted many as an employee in our District. His dedication to his work, kind demeanor, love of students, and contributions to the District made a lasting impact. Scott exemplified Bison Pride and Bison Grit!
Everyone reacts differently to this type of event. Factors such as levels of development, our relationships with the people impacted, our previous experiences of loss, and our personal perceptions of death impact how we deal with this event. We understand that grief can cause a variety of emotions and behaviors. The District is here for anyone needing support. School counselors will be available in the days and weeks ahead. Please contact your child’s building principal if you have any questions or concerns.
