Update at 3:30 pm - Tonight's Stadium Light Display Cancelled

The Bedford Area School District appreciated the community support and our hearts were in the right place.  We wanted to support our students and community.  Unfortunately, we were advised that a few students are talking about gathering for this event on social media.  Although we advised against this multiple times, this online discussion prompted us to cancel tonight's event to support state and national social distancing recommendations.  We apologize to everyone who planned to respect the district's request to avoid gathering and are disappointed  in the few who disrupted this event.

The lights of Bison Stadium will shine tonight, April 9th, at 8:20 pm for 20 minutes to recognize and show empathy for the Bisons class of 2020.   Additionally, the Bedford Area School District would like the display to be a symbol of hope for students, staff, and the entire Bedford community, serving as a reminder of the brightness each new day brings, with continued optimism for a return to our normal lives. We encourage everyone to follow social distancing guidelines and not gather at or near the high school during the event.  As always, the Bedford Area School District stands united with the Bedford community during this crisis.  Bison Pride!"
