Picture 1- Kowen Long's Battlebot Theodore Throwsevelt

The Bedford Bots IQ team traveled to Westmoreland County Community College on Thursday, March 12 to compete in their season opening preliminary battle. Two robots, Theodore Throwsevelt and Andrew Carnage, faced off against 23 other teams. After taking early losses, both bot teams battled back with some hard-fought performances. Senior Kowen Long and his robot Theodore Throwsevelt took the overall win, with Junior Thomas Blackburn and his robot Andrew Carnage took a respectable 4th place. The Bots IQ team will be back in action on March 28 at Bloomsburg High School.
