BASD Update on Changes to Bus Routes 1 and 33
The Bedford Area School District worked diligently this summer to update bus routes in an effort to create efficient routes and deal with bus driver shortages. There are two major changes to the Districts’ bus routes.
Bus Route 1
The District eliminated bus route 1. The students previously on bus 1 will now ride either bus 12 or bus 30. To avoid confusion, the District will label the busses 12-1 or 30-1. The busses will arrive at approximately the same time as in previous years.
Bus Route 33
The District eliminated bus route 33. The students previously on bus 33 will now ride either bus 34 or bus 35. To avoid confusion, the District will label the busses 34-33 or 35-33. The busses will arrive at approximately the same time as in previous years.
Please be patient and, similar to previous years, allow for additional time as drivers and other students and families refine their morning schedules. If you experience an issue with this change on the first day of school, please contact the Transportation Office at 814-623-4223. The District will have staff on stand-by ready to assist with any issues.
