In an effort to provide Parents and guardians with timely and viable information regarding an incident at the homecoming dance, the Bedford Area School District wants parents and guardians to know that no students were harmed at the homecoming dance as a result of an unverified rumor that a student was planning on causing harm at the dance.  Although the rumor has not been verified, student reacted appropriately to the rumor and quickly evacuated the homecoming dance.  The district is in the process of reunifying parents with their children.  Again, no students were harmed at the homecoming dance this evening.  The district will continue to provide information as it becomes available.
