Our team this week is the successful cross country team. As the season is coming to a close, things are just starting to heat up as they go into D6 meet. Below is a statement from Mrs. Fisher, we wish all of the runners the best!
“The bison cross country team is looking primed and ready for the D6 meet this coming Saturday. Last week at the LHAC Championship meet, we had 4 medalists in a talent-packed field. Van May was the overall winner in the boys' race and on the girls' side we had Meah Eshelman in 7th, Savannah Nesbitt in 9th, and Alexis Twigg at 20th. The rest of the team ran either their personal record time or very close to it. We are looking for them to all reach their PR times again on Saturday as they work to qualify for the state meet in Hershey. Only the top team and 5 individuals will make it to states, so everyone will have to run their best to get a spot.”
