The Bedford Area School District recognizes the importance of families in attendance at athletic events. Recently, there was a federal court ruling overturning Governor Wolf’s size limits on gathering for indoor and outdoor activities. Although the ruling overturns size limits on gatherings, we are still required to create an environment where social distancing is possible. Under the current guidelines, the district decided to allow 4 guests per athlete at home JV/V and JH volleyball games.
Please note this is a fluid situation with the potential for quick changes in the guidelines and laws from our government. Therefore, the district cannot guarantee spectators will be able to attend all future events. At minimum, we want to offer parents this opportunity to enjoy their child’s sport knowing there may be future changes.
We ask all guests to enter the gymnasium via the Main Entrance on John Street. The ticket taker will check you in and collect your fee. The Bedford Area School District asks you to wear a mask at all times and socially distance with your family group once inside the gymnasium.
*All home JH games will take place at the Bedford High School to allow for social distancing.
