The Bedford County Reading Competition was held at Tussey Mountain Jr./Sr. High School on March 21st. Our 5th grade team read 35 books and practiced answering questions about those books since the beginning of December.
They did an excellent job reading and preparing for the competition. There were 7 rounds of preliminary competition, followed by the final round. Their hard work paid off as they won the 5th/6th grade level competition with a score of 12 to 7 over Bedford Middle School’s 6th grade team.
