Last night Bedford Elementary had a “Tackle Reading Under the Lights” Night on the Bedford High School football field. Students and their families were encouraged to participate in many activities such as, a scavenger hunt, basket raffle, book swap, and each received a new book to take home. BHS varsity football players threw footballs and read with families as well. The scoreboard timer was set for 15 minutes during which families went onto the field and read books under the lights.
