This morning, the Bedford Volunteer Fire Company visited our school to teach Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade students about fire safety. Fire Chief Gary Cooper emphasized the importance of having smoke alarms in the home and practicing fire drills regularly. The students also watched as Firefighter Ceaton Hale demonstrated putting on his firefighting gear. To top off the visit, every student received a fire hat.
