disaster

From March 26 to April 1 The Bedford County Technical Center’s Building Construction class selected eight students from multiple districts around the county for a disaster relief trip to Jackson, Kentucky. During July of 2022 several parts of Kentucky had flooded. The house the construction class worked on was actually located on top of a hill and was not reached by the flood waters. A pipe had burst over the winter and had flooded the house. Over five hundred thousand gallons of water went through the entire bottom floor of the house. It was left to sit causing water damage and mold. All the students worked very diligently to accomplish everything within one week. They all did very good work and wowed the home owners. Good job, Building Construction!
