Bedford High School

The Bedford Girls' Wrestling team capped off another tremendous season, finishing in seventh place out of 63 teams at the PIAA Central Region Tournament. Freshman, Noelle Murray, battled back from an opening round loss to take third place and punch her ticket to states, while Mariah Hershberger suffered a heartbreaking, last-second loss to fall to fifth place and just miss a trip to Hershey. Sophomore, Mylah Steinbuch, captured the first ever Bedford Girls' Regional Title by avenging last year's regional finals loss. At the state championships, Mylah became just the third wrestler in Bedford High history to medal as both a freshman and a sophomore, earning eighth place.
