The Bedford Bots IQ team traveled to PennWest California this past weekend to compete in the Southwestern Pennsylvania Bots IQ Finals.
67 teams were present, and Kowen Long’s robot ‘Ronald Wreckin’ stood champion of the arena at the end of the two day tournament. Ean Emerick’s robot ‘John Brawl Jones’ came home in a hard fought 13th.
The robot teams qualified for the NRL National Invitational in Springfield, Ohio with their performances this spring. This is the first time in the teams existence that we’ve had three different teams win each of the tournaments we have entered in.
