We are very excited about the upcoming graduation ceremony for the Bedford High School Class of 2025 on Thursday, May 29th, at 7:00 PM on the Bedford High School soccer field. Here are a few reminders for graduating seniors and their families:
Graduation practice for Wednesday, May 28th, is cancelled due to rain in the forecast.
Graduation practice will now be on Thursday, May 29th, at 8:30 AM. All seniors should report to the cafeteria at Bedford Middle School prior to 8:30 AM.
A professional photographer will be available for individual pictures on Thursday, May 29th, after practice. Students wanting an individual photo will need to bring their cap and gown to practice on Thursday. If a student needs a picture packet, they may get one from the BHS office.
Individual photos will be taken during the ceremony as students receive their diplomas. These photos will be available for purchase after the graduation ceremony. Information on purchasing these photos will be in the packet that students receive after graduation.
Each student should already have four graduation tickets for seating on the soccer field and four for the bleachers at the soccer field.
BASD staff plans to livestream the ceremony, but wifi access is limited at the soccer field. In the event of an issue with the livestream, the ceremony will be recorded and posted on the district website.
Guests for graduation may enter through the main entrance at the soccer field on Watson Street, or through the entrance to the baseball field on John Street.
Please plan to park on the street and allow plenty of time to arrive at the ceremony.
If any graduation guest is in need of specific accommodations for the ceremony, please call the Bedford High School Office at 814-623-4250 by 3:00 PM on Wednesday, May 28th. We will do our best to accommodate guests who require assistance using the Bedford Middle School parking lot and handicap parking near the soccer field.
