Last year the Envirothon club toured the fish hatchery and learned about raising trout. Monday, March 23rd they joined the PA Fish & Boat Commission and the PA Game Commission in stocking the fingerlings we saw last year in Cove Creek for anglers to enjoy.
Students learned that it is better for the trout to be thrown in the water, rather than dumped slowly so they don't slide into the sediments at the bottom of the stream, clogging their gills.
