September is suicide awareness month with September 10 being World Suicide Prevention Day. Students wore purple and teal on September 10 and contributed statements of hope, support, and encouragement to the bulletin board in the cafeteria. Students and faculty showed their support of each other and helped to create positive school culture. The event was sponsored by BHS Students Against Destructive Decisions.
