Bedford Middle School is teaming up with Kennametal for the What's So Cool About Manufacturing project. A group of middle school students visited Kennametal on January 29. They toured the Bedford plant and interviewed ten different employees compiling 94 video clips and 125 still photos. They will work over the next two months to dwindle down all of this footage to make a 2 1/2 minute video for the What's So Cool About Manufacturing video competition. Voting will be April 9 -11th and the winners of the competition will be announced on April 18th. Bedford Middle School won the competition last year and advanced to the state level.
