Envirothon

On Thursday, October 3, Mr. Kuhne and Mr. Barnes took a group of Envirothon students to the Allegheny Front Hawk Watch. The perfect weather conditions allowed students to observe migrating raptors including bald eagles, hawks, and falcons. Tree identification and general plant information was covered during the short hike to the hawk watch.  On their way, the group also stopped to observe a waterway affected by acid mine drainage.
