The Bison Weekend Backpack Committee held a Stuff the Bus event at Weis Markets on Saturday, October 19th to help collect monetary and non-perishable food items. Each weekend the program distributes over 1,200 food items and is currently serving 155 students across the district. Bedford High School Students and Staff volunteered their time to collect donations and provide information about the program.
We would like to thank Katie Bullington for her efforts in talking to area businesses to raise awareness for the event. We are so grateful for the generosity of our community and the outpouring of support we received.
