Five students; Haylee Hewitt, Easton Johnson, Jack Miller, Kolby Turner and Ronald Yinkey were selected to participate in the 2026 6th Grade Bandfest, held in Portage. A total of 185 sixth-grade students from Bedford, Blair, Cambria, and Somerset counties came together to form the ensemble. The guest conductor, representing Saint Francis University, led the group through a full day of rehearsals, culminating in a concert at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
