The AP Government classes got to attend Senator Pat Stefano's - Senator For A Day even at Crossroads Bible Church in Bedford on April 18, 2024. Senator Stefano represents the 32nd district which includes Bedford County. The students were able to work with Senator Stefano and his aids, as well as Representative Jesse Topper, and introduce and debate various legislation that has either been considered or is being considered in the General Assembly of Pennsylvania. The students were able to take what they have learned in AP Government class and apply it to the real world, while at the same time learning valuable critical thinking skills and gaining a firm understanding of the legislative process and how impacts them as well as all Pennsylvanians.
