BASD is always monitoring future weather forecasts. Due to the unpredictable weather beginning on Wednesday evening and lasting through Friday, we are moving Grab N Go pickup/deliveries to Wednesday, February 10, 2021. We are committed to supporting our students and apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. In an effort to keep you informed and to prevent any misconceptions, we are notifying you that a Bedford Area School District bus was involved in a collision with a pick up truck on Business 220 this morning. There were no students on the bus at the time of the accident. Neither driver was injured.

Bedford County Technical Center has made the decision to conduct all classes virtually until December 1, 2020. BHS students who attend BCTC will be assigned to study hall at BHS during the time they would normally attend BCTC. The technical center has work for students to complete and this work can be completed while students are in study hall. If you have specific questions about the Bedford County Technical Center they can be reached at (814) 623-2760.
The Bedford Area School District received information that the railroad tracks are now open in Hyndman. In an effort to provide parents with ample time to prepare for pick up, our buses will begin student pick up at 8:20 am. Again, we will begin normal bus routes at 8:20 am.
