As of October 1, 2022, and through the end of the 2022-2023 School Year, Bedford Area School District which participates in the School Breakfast Program will be able to serve students a school breakfast at no charge.
This change is only applicable to the School Breakfast Program in the 2022-2023 School Year and does not affect a student’s eligibility status for lunch (free, reduced, and paid, respectively).

The Bedford Area School District was notified of a fire at Bedford Valley Petroleum. We understand the fire department is closing parts of route 30. This will affect buses 28, 29, 30, and 32. You can expect delays of 15 minutes depending on where you live on the bus route. If you have any questions regarding this delay, please contact the district transportation office at (814) 623-4223 or your child’s school building. We will continue to monitor this situation.
