Due to the frigid temperatures the Bedford Area School District will be operating on a two hour delay tomorrow Thursday,January 27, 2022.
Bedford Area School District Bus 23 is running 10-15 minutes late this morning, Friday, January 21, 2022, due to mechanical issues.
Due to the concerns of drifting snow and poor road conditions in the morning, the Bedford Area School District will be operating on a two-hour delay, Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
Due to the inclement weather the Bedford Area School District will be operating on a 2-hour delay today, January 7, 2022.

Bedford Area School District Bus 35 had mechanical issues in the Bedford Elementary parking lot at dismissal time today. A spare bus is arriving at any moment. All students who ride bus 35 will be approximately 25 minutes late today.
We have completed the transfer of students from Bus 2 to Bus 40. Bus 40 in place of Bus 2 is now leaving Bedford and now beginning it’s route.
Bedford Area School District Bus 2 is currently broke down and we are in the process of transferring students to Bus 40. Once we have completed the transfer we will inform parents so you know they are on their way home.

Bus 30 encountered a traffic delay due to a vehicle accident on route 30 and is running approximately 20 minutes late.
Bus 36 encountered a fallen tree blocking grange hall road on it’s bus route. We anticipate the bus may experience a 30 min delay for any students that have not been picked as well as arriving 30 min late to school. If you have any questions, please call the transportation office at 814-623-4208.
BASD Bus #35 is running approximately 15 minutes late due to mechanical issues.

The Bedford Area School District will be canceled due to flooding and road conditions tomorrow September 2, 2021. The effects of today’s storm will be require many of our district families time to clean up damage. Tomorrow is not a virtual day, we are canceled and there will NOT be any education tomorrow, Thursday, September 2, 2021. The district will assess road conditions and flooding tomorrow and will make a decision about athletics after school activities by 11 am tomorrow. Again, school for tomorrow, Thursday, September 2, 2021 is canceled.
